Spotlight on the HubSpot x Sequence integration

Go from a HubSpot deal to a signed quote in Sequence, and invoices generate automatically. Reps stay in HubSpot until a customer needs a quote. Once it's signed, everything is automated and syncs back to HubSpot.

One product catalogue for quote-to-cash

Sequence is the AI billing and quote-to-cash platform for any custom contract or pricing model.

Kombo, Raspberry AI, Filed and many others run their sales in HubSpot and their quote-to-cash and billing in Sequence, with invoices flowing through our native integrations with Quickbooks, Xero, NetSuite and Rillet.

Reps stay in HubSpot until the customer needs a quote. Once the contract is signed, everything downstream runs automatically and syncs back to HubSpot. Finance doesn't need to re-enter pricing or chase sales for contract terms.

A lot of revenue leakage comes from too many sources of truth. The product catalogue is set up in the CRM, rebuilt in a quoting tool and set up again in billing. That holds up until reps move off the default pricing. Then a discount agreed on the deal never reaches the invoice, or disappears at renewal. Another example is when a product exists in the quoting tool and not the billing system.

With Sequence, one product catalogue drives quoting, billing and revenue recognition. Every quote is built from it, and the signed quote sets the terms for every invoice. Pricing, contract value and dates sync back to the HubSpot deal, and invoices sync to your ERP.

The deal hits a stage where the customer is ready to see a quote

Pick the HubSpot pipeline stages that bring a customer into Sequence. When a deal reaches one, the company and its contacts sync across automatically, with no duplicates. If a record is missing something like a postcode, Watchtower (our human in the loop interface) flags the company and the problem. Fix it in HubSpot and the import runs again on its own.

Open the quote from the deal

The Sequence Quote card sits on the deal record. One click opens the quote in Sequence with the customer and contacts already linked, and every click after that reopens the same quote. Reps build from your quote templates, add the agreed products and pricing, make any adjustments or discounts, and publish.

Approval workflows before anything goes out

Approval workflows check every quote as the rep builds it. A quote gets routed for approval when its prices, discounts, minimums or terms differ from the template, and you can also route it based on how each product is billed or the payment terms offered. If a quote needs sign-off, the rep sees Send for review instead of Publish.

HubSpot updates automatically

When the quote is published, the contract value, dates, status and pricing sync to the deal as line items.HubSpot's own contract value, ARR and MRR match the quote, and any pricing change made in Sequence shows up in HubSpot too. If the quote changes, publish a new version and the deal updates.

Signing closes the deal

When the customer signs, the deal moves to your signed stage and the signed PDF is attached to it. The same terms are already in Sequence, ready to invoice and sync to your ERP.

How customers run HubSpot and Sequence together

Raspberry AI has one finance person running billing for hundreds of B2B contracts. Reps build quotes from HubSpot data, signed quotes become invoices that sync to QuickBooks, and they went live in 3 weeks.

At Kombo, the terms set at the quote-level drive every invoice across 2 legal entities from one system. Going live captured $729k in usage overages in the first 90 days.
